Checktemp HI98509 Digital Thermometer, you can accurately know your aquariums temperature within 0.5°F. Each Checktemp comes with a 3.3' silicone cable that has a stainless steel probe at the end that gives rapid readings and will maintain its performance over a long time. Using an NTC thermistor sensor, the Checktemp has multiple different uses for measuring liquids, air, and even semi-solid products. The monitor has a large LCD display and with CALcheck the system will go through a self-check every time the system starts up it will give you a visual report if something is wrong within a couple seconds.

Hanna's Checktemp comes with a certification that validates the production of the unit, calibration and other testing required to meet all of Hanna's requirements, using standards and reference instruments that are traceable to the National Institute of Standards (NIST) in the USA or to the internationally acceptable national physical standards. The standards and reference instruments used in calibration and tested are also supported by a calibration system which meets requirements of ISO9001. Every Checktemp includes a certificate on the back of the manual. The certification lists tests at various reference points and any deviations from those points. These tests are then signed and dated by an engineer in the manufacturing plant.
